Casa Neyar

Casa Neyar is a residential retreat and farmhouse designed to be surrounded by a variety of activities, sitting areas, and nodes of botanic life which can be navigated through an enjoyable pedestrian path. The building is envisioned with maximum exposure to its surroundings by using continuous glass surfaces and as little interior walls as possible. The exterior form is created through two distinct orientations that increase the façade length and maximize exposure to the outdoor space. These angles and the extruding canopies also create in-between shaded terraces that are protected from the southern sun. The minimalist design enables a seamless continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces. Whether sitting at the fireplace whilst surrounded by water or having a cup of coffee in one of the room terraces, the design allows family and friends to experience the entwinement between architecture and nature.
