Nile Front Complex

The Manial Shiha Complex is a prime waterfront development on the Southern edges of Greater Cairo. The astonishing location and breath-taking natural surrounding inspired our team at Nest Architects to produce a design that gave every square meter a unique exposure to the timeless river and the green islands across it. Using levels creatively was key to the solution, where rear villa rows were juxtaposed over multi-storey parking spaces, overlooking the more privileged front rows and separating them from the river-level recreational spaces. The project also involved designing a large-scale hotel with layers of terraces and hanging gardens.
